1. Head-on (Gegen die Wand) – A German drama directed by Fatih Akin. The film is set in Hamburg. Cahit is a cocaine and alcohol addicted Turkish German in his ’40s. He meets with a young girl Sibel, who is asking him to marry her. Both of their lives turns upside down.
  2. Sleep Tight (Mientras duermes) – A Spanish thriller directed by Jaume Balagueró. Cesar is an apartment concierge. He decides, that his mission is to make life hell for everyone around him. He achieves it with a help of selected devices.
  3. Turkish Bath (Hamam) – An Italian-Turkish drama directed by Ferzan Özpetek. A talented Roman designer Francesco inherits a Turkish bath in Istanbul. He travels to Turkey to sell the building. There he meets the family running the hamam. The Turkish people and the whole atmosphere impresses him, and he decides to renovate the bath.
  4. In the House (Dans la maison) – A french thriller directed by Francois Ozon. A high school student Claude insinuates into his friend’s family. He writes stories to his literature teacher about his experiments in the family. The events become quickly uncontrollable, which leave marks on many people’s lives.
  5. Taxidermia – A Hungarian comedy-drama-horror directed by György Pálfi. The story is told by means of three generations of men from Hungary, beginning with a military orderly during the Second World War, moving on to an aspiring speed-eater during the Cold War, and concluding with a taxidermist during modern times
  6. Good bye, Lenin! – A German tragicomedy film directed by Wolfgang Becker. Christiane, a mother of two falls into a coma in October 1989 in East Berlin. The change of regime occurs. A half a year later Christiane wakes up, but according to the doctor’s advice she has to be spared of any stressful situations. His son, Alex decides to maintain the appearence of the GDR.
  7. The Ignorant Fairies (Le fate ignoranti) – An Italian drama film directed by Ferzan Özpetek. Antonia discovers that her recently deceased husband had been having an affair with a man.
  8. Wild tales (Relatos salvajes) – An Argentine-Spanish tragicomedy directed by Damián Szifrón. The movie contains six short stories about sad people and their acts.
